Get £7,500 Toward an Energy-Efficient Heating System¹
The UK government is offering financial support for air-source heat pumps to encourage the switch to low-carbon heating solutions.
Thanks to the Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS), eligible homeowners in England and Wales can receive a £7,500 government grant to help with the installation cost.
The BUS grant is currently scheduled to run until 31 December 2027, making this a great time to invest in low‑carbon heating, though it could still be subject to change.
Updated for November 2025: No clear changes were made to the Boiler Upgrade Scheme in the November 2025 Budget announcement, meaning homeowners can still access £7,500 grants towards eligible heat pump installations.
¹£7,500 grant available through the Boiler Upgrade Scheme, subject to eligibility and government criteria. Not all households will qualify.
